Elyse attended the University of Minnesota where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She then continued her education at the University of Iowa where she graduated with her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Originally from Urbandale, Iowa, Elyse became passionate about physical therapy after requiring rehab for numerous running injuries. As a collegiate distance runner for the Gophers and Hawkeyes, Elyse has a unique perspective in helping runners and athletes recover from injuries and return to the activities they love. Elyse has experience and a special passion for treating amputees, youth athletes, lower extremity injuries, and is trained in using blood flow restriction (BFR). She has been a member of the Rebound team since January 2022. Outside of work, Elyse enjoys running, hiking, grocery shopping, pet-sitting, exploring coffee shops, and trying new recipes in the kitchen. She loves exploring the many trails and views Colorado has to offer.
