Hope attended Springfield College in Springfield Massachusetts where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a concentration in clinical medicine. She went on to continue her education at Bay Path University in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts completing her Master of Occupational Therapy.
She started her Hand Therapy journey back in 2020 where her path led her into making a career change was unexpectedly exposed to the realms of Occupational Therapy working as an Operation Support Specialist… which just means a rehabilitation aide and admin associate combined. From there she focused on specializing in Hand Therapy due to courses such as anatomy, kinesiology and orthotics resonating with her the most during graduate school.
She spent her 6 months of internships in Colorado where she was trained in Pediatrics and further trained in Hand Therapy. Her 5-year plan is to become a Certified Hand Therapist and specialize in Upper Extremity amputation rehabilitation including prosthetic training for her patients.
