Meet the Staff
Bridget Anderson, PT, DPT
bridgetBridget is a Fargo, North Dakota native and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology.  After working for a few years, she decided to return to school at the College of Saint Catherine in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  She was practicing at an outpatient clinic in St. Louis Park, Minnesota prior to her arrival in Fort Collins in 2010. 

As a former gymnast and diver, pursuing a career as a physical therapist was a natural fit for Bridget, as she spent numerous hours in rehabilitation herself.  She enjoys working in a general orthopedic setting, as well as helping athletes recover from injuries.  She has a special interest in shoulder rehabilitation. 

In her spare time, Bridget enjoys spending time with her husband, Sean, and their bulldog, Rex.  She is a true “lake girl” and enjoys spending time at the cabin in Minnesota with her family and friends, cheering on the Minnesota Gophers, going to Jimmy Buffett concerts, running and knitting.

Lindsey Anderson, PT, DPT

lindsey Lindsey is a native of Colorado, growing up in Loveland, CO and graduating from Colorado State University with a degree in Health and Exercise Science. She attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has recently returned to the state to advance her career in physical therapy as well as enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of Colorado living.

Lindsey enjoys working with a wide variety of patient populations to promote healing, improve function, and optimize physical performance. This includes individuals with orthopedic conditions such as sports injuries, post surgical rehabilitation, and common conditions such as neck and back pain, as well as individuals with traumatic or acquired neurological conditions In her clinical practice, Lindsey strives to provide an integrative approach to therapy, combining therapeutic exercise and hands on manual therapy to meet the specific needs of each patient. Lindsey believes that the most successful therapy is achieved by giving patients the knowledge and tools to take an active role in their recovery.

Emily Clark, MSPT

Emily was raised in Fort Collins, Colorado, received her Bachelors degree in Biology from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington and returned to Colorado to earn a Masters of Science Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado in 2001.  She has been practicing in Northern Colorado since and joined Rebound in 2008.  She was certified by Emory University in Vestibular Rehabilitation in 2005 and now specializes in assessing and treating imbalance, dizziness, vertigo and other inner ear disorders.  She has found much reward in helping these patients return to normal activities with confidence and without dizziness!  In addition, Emily’s clinical focus includes general orthopedics including back and neck pain, headaches, foot/ankle pain, running injuries and custom orthotic casting.

Emily has experience as a competitive runner in the 5K through the marathon and more recently has become an avid cyclist, both on and off the road.  She enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle along with her husband, two

children and golden retriever.  Emily is fluent in Spanish.

Ashley Delay, CMT

ashley Although Ashley was born on the east coast, she has been in the Loveland/Fort Collins area for as long as she can remember.  After graduating from high school, Ashley pursued several business opportunities while she tried to decide what she “wanted to be when she grew up”.  Somewhere between chasing after her young daughter, and working multiple jobs, she decided to go back to school.

Ashley graduated from the Institute of Business and Medical Careers in Fort Collins, CO and began her career as a Massage Therapist.  “I chose Therapeutic Massage because I want to help people by relieving pain, increasing their overall well-being, and educating my clients to help them live a healthier, happier life.”

Ashley specializes in deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, injury rehabilitation and hot stone massage.  She is excited to be a part of the Rebound team, and looks forward to providing top quality, personalized care for each patient.

Craig Depperschmidt, PT, DPT

Craig grew up in Loveland, Colorado and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder for his bachelor’s degree in integrative physiology. After spending a summer biking across the country, he headed to Flagstaff, Arizona, where he graduated with distinction from Northern Arizona University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Craig and his wife, Abby, who is also a physical therapist, soon moved to Northern Colorado to give back to the community and participate in various outdoor sports.

Craig has extensive experience with personal injuries from his background as a runner and triathlete, which is part of the reason he became a physical therapist. He is focused on finding the cause of his patients’ symptoms so they can return to their desired level of activity and prevent future complications. When not in the clinic, Craig enjoys spending time with his wife, cycling, competing in triathlons and climbing Colorado’s 14ers. He also enjoys learning new and interesting things and ideas, whether it’s a new hobby or a technique to advance his patient care, and he always enjoys a good conversation with a patient.  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Jill Downey - Operations Manager

Jill has been with Rebound for 10+ years and has done just about every job there is to do at the clinic. Her current position as Patient Care Coordinator/Front Desk Manager is the perfect fit for her personality. She enjoys interacting with Rebound’s clientele and excels at making them feel most welcome. Having a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from the University of Northern Colorado is a perfect compliment and gives her a unique advantage when helping patients begin a treatment program.

She is a Colorado native and enjoys living along the Front Range. She loves traveling, reading, knitting, watching sports, and the company of family and friends. Her favorite spot in this world is any beach in Kauai with a good book.

Jason Grissom MPT

Jason joined Rebound in March 2006, relocating with his wife from Wisconsin. He received his science degree from the University of Wisconsin, La-Crosse where he also swam for the University team for four years. He went on to receive his Master of Physical Therapy from Carroll College in 2002.

Jason enjoys treating a person’s whole kinematic chain and looking beyond symptoms for root causes. When not treating he enjoys spending time outdoors and in the mountains with his wife and their dog, camping, golfing, and cheering Wisconsin teams to Victory!

Jon Hartwick MSPT, Cert MDT - Clinical Director Loveland

Jon Hartwick graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science in 1994.  He then continued on to Regis University where he graduated with a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy.  After completing his final clinical affiliation at Rebound he joined as a staff therapist in January 1999 and accepted the position of Clinical Director in 2006.

Jon’s extensive continuing education has included earning a certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy from the McKenzie Institute USA and later a certification in Polestar Rehabilitative Pilates.  Additional training has included recently becoming a Certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner and utilization of many Postural Restoration Institute techniques.  His main goal is to translate this extensive training and experience in spine disorders, core strengthening and treatment of other musculoskeletal dysfunctions to his patients so that they are empowered to reduce their pain, restore function and prevent injury.

In Jon’s spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife Kendra, daughter Peyton and their yellow Labrador Retriever Wrigley.   He is an avid fly fisherman, sportsman and March Madness fanatic!

Heather Lahdenpera, LAc, MPT, MTOM, Dipl. Ac, CH, OM

Heather Lahdenpera

A nationally certified acupuncturist, herbalist and Oriental Medicine practitioner,  Heather Lahdenpera is dedicated to helping children and adults reach their maximum health potential by the most natural means possible.  The mother of two boys, Heather is passionate about building healthy bodies from the onset.  Combining a healthy diet, based on Oriental nutritional principles, with exercise and a balanced mental and spiritual foundation is the main focus of her treatment philosophy. 

Heather holds a bachelors’ degree in Industrial Psychology from Pepperdine University, a masters’ degree in Physical Therapy from Idaho State University, and a masters’ degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine.  She has recently returned to her hometown, Fort Collins, and enjoys year round outdoor adventures with her husband and boys. 

In addition to her work at Rebound, Heather is an advisor for ecomom.com, an online  resource for parents looking for sustainable and healthy ways to raise their children.  Heather is also passionate about cooking which has been one of her life long interests.  She grew up learning the art of “using whatever is in the pantry to make a delicious meal” from her Finnish grandmother Ellie.  This taught her to experiment with various ingredients from an early age.  As she became versed in Oriental medicine nutrition principles, she put her experience to use working on recipes that would conform to the tenets of Oriental medicine using ingredients from the east and the west.  She is currently working on a book based on these ideas which will be focused on feeding children.

Christine Marckesano, Patient Reception Fort Collins
christineChristine joined Rebound in May 2010 after having spent more than a decade working in the public relations and communications field. She brings with her strong client relations skills and general office experience. As part of Rebound’s front office team, she enjoys getting to know our patients and clients, sharing in their progress, and helping them throughout their time with us. 

A native of central New Jersey, Christine moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder where she earned bachelor’s degrees in both Journalism and Sociology. She spends her free time with her husband and their two teenagers. Together, they enjoy Colorado outdoor activities like camping, boating and hiking as well as working out, cooking, traveling and spending time with other family and friends.

Jason McKinley
j_mac2Jason is a Colorado Native, living the majority of his life in the small town of Walden.  After high school he attended 1 year of college at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, but I realized school wasn’t for him at the moment in his life.  Having always been interested in massage, Jason moved to Fort Collins in 2008 to earn his license at the Healing Arts Institute.  He has coached high school athletes in basketball, football, and track over the past 3 years and had always been an athlete, so I knew, once I graduated, that a sports/rehabilitation clinic would be the best place for me.

Brad Ott MSPT, Cert MDT - President

Brad is an Iowa native converted to the good life in Colorado at a young age. He graduated from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa with a degree in biology. He then obtained his Masters in Physical Therapy from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. On return to Colorado, Brad worked with USA Cycling Sports Medicine in Denver before settling into the Loveland and Fort Collins community. In 1997 he became the owner of Rebound. While continuing to grow the out-patient physical therapy services in the community, Brad has served as assistant coach and biomechanical consultant to CSU Men’s and Women’s Golf, consultant to CSU Women’s Volleyball, assistant coach for Fort Collins High School Cross Country, and consultant to many other local club sports teams. He has worked with athlete’s on golf’s Nationwide and PGA Tours, and Olympic Trials athletes in swimming, running and equestrian. He is most proud of the team that has been assembled at Rebound, and recognizes that with a collaborative effort, world-class clinical care and service can benefit all of Colorado. Outside of the clinic, Brad enjoys all the benefits of two young children and his wife Crissy. He has been blessed to make time to coach both Madi and AJ’s teams in soccer, basketball, and baseball.

Crissy Ott, MSPT

Crissy grew up in Loveland, Colorado, graduating from Loveland High School, then Colorado University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. She then attended Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and earned her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 1991. She worked in numerous therapy practices before joining Rebound 7 years ago. She treats all musculoskeletal dysfunctions, but has a strong interest in working with foot/ankle problems, runners, and soccer players.

She enjoys running, swimming, golfing, skiing and hiking when not in the clinic, as well as spending time with her family – Brad and two children Madison, age 12, and AJ, age 10. Getting Patients back on their feet and enjoying their lives is her main goal with her career; in addition to helping patients improve their biomechanics so that they can perform sports or function on a daily basis without pain.

Jennifer Penfold-Grogan CMT

 

jenn penfold groganJennifer is a native of Fort Collins, and after a 24-year sabbatical, is glad to be back in her hometown. She completed her massage training at Colorado School of Healing Arts in 2000, specializing in sports massage, deep tissue, and neuromuscular therapy. She also has experience with pre- and post-natal massage and lymph drainage. She is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals, has 745 hours of schooling, and brings 8 years of private practice experience to Rebound Sports and Physical Therapy. Jennifer is a former personal trainer, fitness instructor and body builder. She has knowledge and experience with athletic training, performance and recovery. She is currently active in running, cycling, skiing, and chasing her 6 and 2 year-olds around. “I am so excited about joining the Rebound team. The dynamic of this group of individuals combining forces to provide the best possible opportunity for whole health is cutting-edge. It is my philosophy to treat the whole body and to create homeostasis for the individual. I look forward to being an integral part of this team and providing our clients with an experience that exceeds their expectations.”

Jennifer is an avid outdoors woman and loves to be with her family in the mountains hiking, fishing, climbing and camping. She is married to Chuck Grogan and has a daughter, Shea; a son, Karsten; a cat, Licorice; and 2 dogs, Max and Joy.

Shelley Pickford - Patient Reception Loveland

shelleyShelley grew up in rural Jefferson County and moved to Fort Collins after high school.  She attended Colorado State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.  More recently, Shelley has earned a degree in Medical Billing.  Shelley has a great deal of experience in both the medical office and customer service settings.  Shelley joined the Rebound team in 2010.

In her free time, Shelley enjoys attending sporting events, especially when her son or daughter are playing.  She also loves outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and skiing, as well as spending time at the gym.

Shelley is very extied to have recently joined the Rebound team and loves working with both staff and patients in such a positive and optimisitc environment.

Casey Robinson MSPT - Clinical Director Fort Collins

casey_robinson_1Casey Robinson grew up in Loveland, Colorado and graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science. She then went on to Regis University in Denver where she graduated with a Master of Science, Physical Therapy in 1999. She is very active in the sport of volleyball as both a player and club coach. She is also an avid runner and huge sports fan!

Casey first joined Rebound in September of 2000. She has focused a great deal of her time to working with young athletes and the injuries they face. Her emphasis is on restoring the athlete to full function, including how they have to move in their particular sport.

Casey enjoys learning new ideas and has over 340 hours of continuing education. In 2007 she became a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner and in 2009 became Sports Certified Specialist in physical therapy. Casey is married to Mike Robinson. They currently live in Fort Collins with their dogs Rosie and Sonny and cat Sadie.

NaKena Urueta - Billing and Insurance

NaKena was born in Alliance, Nebraska and spent the early years of life traveling around because her father was in the military. Her family settled down in the Fort Collins area 28 years ago. NaKena attended University of Denver after graduating from Poudre High School. She has 15+ years of experience in finance and medical fields. With her background, she has found her current position as Billing and Collections Manager at Rebound to be a perfect fit.

She is known as an outgoing and cheerful person. Her four wonderful children manage to keep hip and on her toes. When given a spare moment between work and family, she loves to help others by volunteering in the community with groups such as her children’s schools and early childhood education programs. She enjoys playing bingo, softball, and darts. She can also be found going to the movies with her family and catching a few laughs with friends and loved ones. Julie Vuxinic-Martin, MSPT, CFO

Julie is a native of Colorado, born and raised in the Denver Metro Area. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Northern Colorado in 1991 and a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 1993. She worked as a physical therapist in two outpatient clinics with a focus on outpatient orthopedics and occupational medicine along with some home health and neurology.  "After taking a several year hiatus from physical therapy, she returned to the profession in 2006 and joined Rebound in 2007.  Since joining Rebound, she has attended continuing education courses on Myokinematic Restoration, Postural Respiration, Vestibular Rehabilitation, and the McKenzie course with special emphasis on the lumbar spine."

She lives in Loveland with her husband, two young girls, and their greyhound and loves spending time with her family and riding her bike.

Gloria Walker, Billing and Insurance

gloriaGloria Walker is a Loveland native and joined the Rebound team in 2009.  She enjoys working with the public and has an extensive customer service background.  She is excited to be in the medical field and learn all the benefits of physical therapy.  Gloria enjoys spending time with family and friends, coaching, and watching her daughter in Softball & Basketball.
